pre-boarding

What it is

You can purchase the right to be called first for boarding at the gate. At some airports this will get you among the first on board. At other airports it will get you on the first bus but we cannot guarantee that you will be first off the bus. The cost of pre-boarding will depend on the airport's infrastructure. Purchasing pre-boarding does not guarantee you your preferred choice of seat as some seats may already be reserved.

How it works

  • Just click on the "Add pre-boarding" button presented during the booking process on the website. The price of the service will automatically be added for each passenger and flight in your booking. You can check the exact amount here.
  • If you have not purchased online: after you have checked in, go to the Wizz Air sales desk and ask to buy pre-boarding.
  • You will receive a sticker on your boarding pass. This sticker indicates to staff at the boarding gate that you have paid for pre-boarding.
  • Passengers having purchased pre-boarding will be called first to board at the gate.

Important:

Please note that check-in closes 40 minutes before scheduled time of departure (STD) and boarding starts 30 minutes before STD.
If you are not at the gate in time for the start of boarding we are unable to pre-board you.
The Pre-Boarding Fee is non-refundable.
