Wizz Air Travel Insurance provides a wide range of covers:
- payment of medical and other related expenses
- 24/7 emergency medical assistance
- accidental death or permanent disability
- missed departure
- loss of personal belongings, baggage and money
- cancellation and curtailment of a trip
The cost is calculated automatically when you book, and depends on the length of your trip. Trips of over 31 days are not covered.
To buy Wizz Air Travel Insurance, you and anyone travelling with you must be:
- Under 65 years of age (under 71 years in Germany) at the time of the trip, and
- A resident of Bulgaria, Eire, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden or the UK.
There are inevitably exclusions in a policy with so much cover, including claims due to a medical condition or illness that was known about before a trip started.
