Step 1: Check out Wizz Air’s and other airlines’ offers flying to your destination

Wizz Air’s fares are most likely to be the lowest available on the market. If you don’t find a better offer than Wizz Air’s then all you have to do is book your flight at wizzair.com and enjoy flying for the lowest fare.
Should you find a lower fare offered by another airline, then please read carefully the following terms and conditions in order to receive a credit for the double of the difference between Wizz Air’s and the other airline’s fare.
Step 2: Make sure you compare apple with apple

Claims can be submitted for one way and round trip journeys. The other airline’s offer must contain the same route and travel date. Only same type of journeys can be compared (one way to one way, round trip to round trip journey). The qualifying routes are listed above. Claims can only be made for flight(s) which are due to depart on the same day and before or after 4 hours of the departure of the booked Wizz Air flight(s).

The comparative flight prices must both include all mandatory taxes and charges and the lowest amount of booking/payment handling fee, but not any additional costs such as fees for other optional booking or payment methods, baggage and excess baggage fee, priority boarding fee, change fee, and fees for any other additional services.
Step 3: Book your flight, submit your claim fast and don’t forget to prove it

Make the booking at wizzair.com and submit your claim within 1 hour. We cannot accept any claims received later than 1 hour from booking time. Please click here to download the request form.

Your claim must include your Wizz Air confirmation code and a screenshot of the other airline’s offered fare (including all mandatory taxes and charges) must be attached with the claim. Make sure that the screenshot contains the valid date (month, day, hour, and minutes). Click here to learn how to create a screenshot and see a screenshot sample.
Step 4: Wizz Air verifies your claim and notifies you as soon as possible

Claims are verified by Wizz Air staff within 48 hours of receipt (only during office hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday CET time). If the competitor’s fare cannot be verified on the internet the claim will be invalid. You will be notified by e-mail within 48 hours (from Monday to Friday) of the acceptance or rejection of your claim after it has been verified by Wizz Air. Where a claim is valid and successful, the double of the difference between Wizz Air’s and the other airline’s fare will be put into credit for you at Wizz Air. You can use this credit for booking any Wizz Air flights within one year.
Other conditions:
  • By submitting your claim you agree that Wizz Air’s decision in relation to all claims will be final and binding.
  • Claims not submitted in accordance with the above rules or incomplete will not be accepted. Wizz Air does not accept responsibility if claims are late or lost, due to any technical problems with e-mail or web connection. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt.
  • Each claim is subject to a maximum cap of €100 (or local currency equivalent). Where the difference from Wizz Air’s fare and the cheaper alternative fare is more than €100 (or local currency equivalent), the maximum amount of the credit to be given by Wizz Air will be capped at €100 (or local currency equivalent). No cash payments will be offered.
  • Wizz Air reserves the right to amend or discontinue this promotion, add or remove routes at any time by giving 48 hour notice on wizzair.com to that effect, at its sole discretion.
