The easiest way to travel between central Palma and the airport is by using the frequent public transport bus services. If you are heading to different parts of the island, you can use the taxis outside the airport, which offer fixed priced transfers. More information: www.spanish-airport-guide.com

By car

The airport lies just ten minutes drive away from central Palma and can be reached via the Palma-Santanyí motorway. To reach the northern or western parts of the island, drive towards Palma and take the ring road surrounding the capital. If you are heading towards the eastern part of the Mallorca, drive towards Manacor or Llucmajor. Driving is hassle free as all directions are clearly signposted.

Bus

A scheduled bus service connects the airport and Palma. The buses run every 15 minutes. Single adults tickets costs €1.80, €0.90 for holders of a citizen card and €0.60 for student. Operating times:

from the airport: 6:10am to 2:15am
from Palma: 5.40am and 2.30am
from Paseo de Mallorca: 6.00am and 2.30am
from the Port: 6:15am to 2:30am

Taxi

The taxi stand can be found at the exits from the arrivals hall. The taxis offer a fixed price service to all parts of the island. You can find the cost of the taxi trip shown on the notice board next to the taxis.

Parking

Palma Airport offers extensive long and short term parking at a reasonable cost. The car park at Palma Airport is spread over 6 floors with direct access via a tunnel from the fourth floor to the Palma Airport departures area of the building.
