Stockholm

By car

Skavsta airport is located 100 km south of Stockholm - right next to the main north/south E4-motorway. The Airport is situated only 5 minutes from the motorway.
Directions from the north
Take the E4-motorway until the exit for Skavsta Nyköping C / Skavsta Airport. Turn left at the roundabout and follow sign posted to airport and road 52. Approximately 1.5 km up the road - take a right hand turn (sign to Bärbo and Skavsta Airport). After approximately 1.0 km - turn left into the airport grounds. Go straight until you see the long-term parking areas (1 and 2) or continue straight forward to the passenger terminal.
Directions from the south
Take the E4-motorway until the exit for Skavsta Nyköping C / Skavsta Airport. At the end of the exit turn right following the signs for the airport. At the first roundabout go straight on follow airport signs/road 52. Approximately 1.5 km up the road - take a right hand turn (sign to Bärbo and Skavsta Airport). After approximately 1.0 km - turn left into the airport grounds. Go straight until you see the long-term parking areas (1 and 2) or continue straight forward to the passenger terminal.

Bus

Railway

The local train station in Nyköping has trains departing to/from: Stockholm , Norrköping, Linköping, Södertälje and so with minimal changing you can get to anywhere in Sweden from here. For more information please visit www.sj.se

Coach transfer

Coach travel is very popular in Sweden so the services are quite frequent and comfortable and not a bad price. Coaches are generally picked up at the central station in Stockholm, by luck the same place as the airport coaches delivers you to and from. Taxis

Taxis are readily available all over Stockholm, but before setting off for Stockholm Skavsta it is best to agree a price with the driver. Approximate cost from the centre of Stockholm SEK1 220 and should take approximately 60 minutes.

Car park

There is a long-term parking lot for a total of 1200 cars on your left hand side as you drive into the airport area. The business/short-term parking is allocated on the right hand side just before the terminal. Marked handicap vehicles can be parked in the drop off zone, but pay long-term fee.
