Brussels-Charleroi

By car

Located 46 km from Brussels Centre, Brussels South Charleroi Airport is easily accessed by the motorway (A54 - exit 24).

Coming from Liege - Namur: E42 - exit 15
coming from Brussels - Nivelles: A54 - exit 24
coming from Mons: E42 than A54 to Charleroi - exit 24

Bus

A public bus (Line A) links the Brussels South Charleroi Airport to the Charleroi Train station. From there, you can take a train to any station in Belgium. If you want to combine these two services when you arrive in the airport, you can buy a "bulk" ticket at Charleroi Airport. For € 10.50, one-way.

Railway

You can use the combined Train + Bus ticket that includes the fare from any Belgian railway station to Charleroi station as well as the bus fare (A or 68) from Charleroi station to BSCA. The tickets are on sale at the booking office of the train stations. Regarding timetables and prices please refer to the SNCB website here.

Coach transfer

From Charleroi to Brussels and from Brussels to Charleroi is available more than 20 times per day in both directions; a transfer service by coach is scheduled between Brussels South Charleroi and Brussels Midi Railway station. The coach departure from Brussels is located between rue de France and rue de l'Instruction follow exit "Thalys" to the Midi Railway station. The price for a single way ticket is € 11. Tickets are sold inside the coach (from Brussels to Charleroi) and in the airport at the desk of shuttles (from Charleroi to Brussels).

Shuttle bus

The TEC Charleroi has a shuttle bus service between the Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA) terminal and Charleroi train station. The lines are A or 68 (platform 3 at the bus station). A single ticket costs € 1,95 and a return ticket is € 3,90. The tickets are on sale in the bus (A and 68) or in the kiosk of the bus station in Charleroi. Taxi

Taxis are available all the time outside the terminal. Tariffs of the three taxis companies are: € 12,50 to go from the airport to the Charleroi centre and € 90 to go from the airport to Brussels. Tariffs are the same if you depart from Charleroi centre or Brussels to the airport. You can find more information and tariffs here.

Car park

Three car parks are available at the airport. They are secured and located inside the airport premises. You can drop the passengers and his luggage in front of the terminal. No parking is allowed close to the terminal. Car parks are open from 4.30 am and remain open until the last flight arrives. It is not possible to reserve a parking place prior your departure.

Terminal parking 1 & 2 (blue colour): Located in front of the terminal, 700 cars capacity, Ideal for short term parking

Airport parking (orange colour): Located on the other side of the airport. Free shuttle service (accessible to wheelchairs) brings back passengers to the terminal (4.30 - 23.00, every 20 minutes), 1500 cars capacity, ideal for long term parking.

Kiss & Ride parking (yellow colour): Located close to the terminal building, 25 cars capacity, and ideal for dropping passengers and for very short terms parking.
